About The law on foreign ownership of co-owned buildings

Cambodia’s 2010 law on providing foreigners with ownership rights in private units of co-owned buildings lets foreigners own apartments from the first floor up, within a cap on the share of each building held by foreigners, and not in buildings near the land borders. Land stays with Cambodian citizens and companies. Check the current rules with the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction and your own lawyer.
